Live Journey - My Working Experiences
Hi everyone..i have started a new blog here. I wanna talk about my working experience.I started my career at McDonald's - Serangoon Avenue 3 as a part-time crew when i was 15 yrs-old. I have a very caring management team and my restaurant manager is very kind and show her appreciation the things that each crew has done. I was shortly promoted to Crew Leader within a year. My studies sucks. I retain two year in Secondary 3 and i decided to drop out of Hougang Secondary and join Assumption VI to take technical course in Electrical Servicing. Once again, my hard work towards my commitment to my job has gain my manager appreciation and was promoted to Floor Manager this March 2008. Shortly, i heard stories that my restaurant manager will be transferred out to other outlet while another from Yishun (YS) will be taking over. From then, i was very worried. In late june, she got hospitalized due to some sickness and a big news broke out and i was stun!!! SHE WILL BE TRANSFERRED OUT!!! A store at Hougang Avenue 8 (HGA8) that is near to house. From that day, i started to do 'research' of the next restaurant manager that is coming. People in the market-wide is saying the same thing...>>> SHE IS VERY STRICT AND FIERCE!!! The day came and i was working together with her>>> She asked me....WHAT WILL U DO TO LET YOUR CREW RESPECT U??? I told her that i do freuquent chat session with them. She corrected me and told me i should do this >> TRUST + RESPECT = INFLUENCE Just few days ago, a few managers includng myself that was previously from the store was being scolded and treated like dogs. HELL?? SHE NOT EVEN RESPECTING US!!! There was once that the printer ink cartridge was spoilt and couldn't print and she reprimanded all of us that we should print all emails so that we will not miss out important notice from Head Office.!!! PLS LAH, USE UR COMMON SENSE CAN ANOT? PRINT SPOIL HOW TO PRINT? USE ASS TO PRINT IZZIT??? TELL ME LAH! She scolded another my manager for poor shift management till she cried.. WE ARE HUMAN-BEING HOR!! WE GOT FEELINGS DF...WATS THE USE OF SAYING SORRY AFTER TAT AND ASK FOR APOLOGY? U HAV ALR CAUSE A DEEP WOUND ON US. A WOUND TAT WILL NOT HEAL AND A SCAR 4EVER!!! I have been tolerating for the past few month but things got worst and many crew resigning...if not me counsel them to stay. ALL ALREADY LEFT...PLS APPRECIATE!!! Can anyone tell me have i made the right choice to work in McDonald's or should i quit??? LET ME TELL U...MY DREAM IS TO SET-UP A COMPANY PROVIDING IT-AV SERVICING, SOUND & LIGHTING (PA), STAGE SCAFFOLDING N RIGGING...I GOT THE CHOICE TO QUIT MY SCHOOL AND THIS STUPID FLOOR MANAGER JOB AND PURSUIT MY DREAMS. PEOPLE LIKE THE NEW GRP - BY2 CAN QUIT SKOOL N PURSUE THEIR SINGING CAREER SO CAN I...AFRAID YOU DO NOT KNOW, I WAS THE CHAIRMAN OF MY EX-SECONDARY SKOOL - PA CLUB FOR THE ENTIRE 'YEARS' I SPENT THERE!!! IF U SEE THIS BLOG,,,TELL U LAH...I WILL BE ENLISTED INTO NATIONAL SERVICE NEXT YEAR. SO I WILL STILL LEAVE McDONALD'S FOR SURE
