finally back from melacca trip13th Dec 09
quite disappointing at first when we see our accomodation is a rundown flat
luckily facility inside was still ok other than no lift...so need to climb the stairs
unpack our stuff and head for food center for lunch ... back to apartment for a rest before going dinner
no training on first day... so went to Jonker Walk....a pretty gal turn her back and smile at me.. :)
back to apartment bathed and sleep early for the next day

woke up and freshen up and head for Cubic Factory for breakfast before training start
started with breifing and classroom lesson and then visit the production plant where they show
us a new product 'EmaginE' that has just launched .. is a smart processor unit that work as a
video player, picture viewer, or even works as a computer...
after lunch, hands-on on Creative sound blaster sets where to dismantle and reassemble the unit
bus-ed to Dataran Pahlawan after training for dinner at Johnny Steamboat and bought some local snacks ...
oh ya...while on the way there, the bloody bus broke down and carbon monoxide came flowing in
the bus continue its journey to our apartment and we cancel their future booking as so dangerous

visited Tenaga Nasional Berhad...one of their power supply company
got the chance to see the huge switchgears and transmission and distribution lines
melaka river cruise at night after dinner and shopping at a nearby market for gifts for my friends

back to Cubic Factory for training ... RMA testing, this where Creative products like MP3, MP4, Webcams, soundcards, soundblaster etc rejected is send here for testing and if possible, refurbish and sold.
at night Dataran Pahlawan again !!! so sianz le so never buy anything

learned the 5'S Excellence practises... Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke..implemented by the japs
which means to Sort, Set, Shine, Standard, Strict
with the practices inplace...it allows us to keep our work flow more effiecency and make us more easier to do our job well
visit IMAI aerospace factory where they produce the wings rib parts for the aircraft...
went MyDin hypermart for shopping and suppose to go Pahlawan again, due to the traffic jam, it is cancel :) YEAH....

last day of training at Cubic factory... had breakfast before playing team building game.
MyDin and Pahlawan, and Jonker Walk for last minute shopping again ...rain heavily at Jonker Walk but we just walk and got totally drench

woke up early and head for the bus station and took the coach back to Singapore...!!! reached back around 2 plus
